TEsting in the Scaled Agile Framework
The Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is a collection of Lean & Agile development principles & patterns which should help organisations deliver more valuable solutions to their customers.
The decision to adopt SAFe is typically driven from the top down & consequently the development teams need to learn & understand the ideas in the framework to help them adhere to it & achieve the desired results.
It is very hard for these development teams to do this by themselves.
Duncs at Testagility has designed a combination of services to help your organisation adopt SAFe through the lens of testing:
Assess the current testing maturity of the programme & identify challenges from a SAFe perspective
Help development teams understand the who, what, when, where, why of testing in SAFe through training & coaching
Help non technical ("the business") understand the importance of testing in SAFe & what they can do to support the development teams integrate testing into their development activities through training & coaching
Provide observations & feedback before, during & after the Innovation & Planning Iteration to drive the next set of experiments
Duncs has been involved in programmes adopting SAFe & is himself is a certified SAFe Agilist.
Here is his digital badge to confirm his SAFe 4 Agilist certification is still valid:
