In this series of posts, we outline what a typical engagement looks like for each of our services.
This post shows an example 1 day Agile Testing Workshop utilising the Training service
A client had a good idea where their challenges were, so they chose to engage us for a 1 day Agile Testing workshop.
Before the workshop, Duncs had a chat with the client to discover the reasons behind the decision to opt for the 1 day workshop - this was to help ensure Duncs could craft the workshop to meet the organisations specific challenges.
The workshop was loosely based on this generic Testagility Agile Testing workshop
Throughout the day, participants were given the opportunity to ask questions & challenges in order get the most out of their session.
At the end of the day, safe-to-fail experiments were proposed by each of the participants based on the topics covered throughout the day. The purpose of these experiments was primarily to improve the testing strategy within the organisation, but also to facilitate the continued learning of the participants (as you can't learn everything in a day!).
An interesting side effect of the 1 day workshop is that it serves as a safe-to-fail experiment for organisations to see if Testagility can actually offer them value & help them solve their challenges.
In this case it seems we can!
Duncs is currently discussing providing some longer term Agile Testing coaching with this organisation based on the relationships formed & feedback provided from the 1 day workshop.
Sounds like something you could do with? Why not get in touch!
